Amelie Brazelton

Being a part of the tight knit community of Eckerd College and Gulfport has taught me the value of local journalism. Working as the culture editor on my liberal arts college campus, I’ve learned that stories are everywhere. While the bigger, national stories are important, being able to connect them to daily life is important in making them feel real. With a special interest in the environment and travel, my work pulls in these broader topics into campus life and makes them feel accesible to students and local residents.
