Being a part of the tight knit community of Eckerd has taught me the value of local journalism. While the bigger, national stories are important, being able to connect them to daily life is important in making them feel real. With a special interest in the environment and travel, my work pulls in these broader topics into campus life and makes them feel accesible to students.
